ADZ was founded in October 1998 and acquired its current company name ADZ NAGANO GmbH with the strategic entry of Japanese sensor component manufacturer NAGANO KEIKI in 2001. In this context, the EU sales business domain expanded to include Nagano meter products. As the range of production and the number of employees continued to grow, the company moved to its current location in Ottendorf-Okrilla (near Dresden) in 2005. In 2020, the site was expanded and the production area expanded by another 400 square meters.
